1. Information We Collect
1.1. Audio & Video Data (User-Requested Content)
VoxaReel processes audio and video that you choose to play from online sources, including public or user-provided URLs (for example, HLS .m3u8 streams, MP4 files, or web-hosted video clips).
- The App does not record from the microphone.
- The App does not accept uploaded media files from your device.
- Audio is processed only while you are playing the selected content — the App extracts the audio track from the video/stream for transcription or analysis.
- Transcription and processing happen locally on your device whenever possible. If you enable a cloud AI provider, only minimal audio segments are securely transmitted.
- We do not store the audio or video processed by the App on our servers.
1.2. Text Data (Transcriptions & User Input)
The App generates transcripts from audio extracted from online videos or streams that you choose to play.
- Generated transcripts may be stored locally on your device so you can view, export, or manage them.
- The App does not collect or store personal text input or identifying information.
- No text is transmitted externally unless you enable a cloud transcription or translation service.
- The App does not collect names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers by default.
1.3. Usage Data (Analytics)
We collect minimal, non-identifiable usage information to improve app performance, such as anonymized crash reports, performance metrics, device model, and OS version.
1.4. In-App Purchases
VoxaReel uses Apple’s in-app purchase system. We do not receive or store your payment information — Apple processes purchases and retains payment details per their policies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data strictly for:
- generating transcriptions, translations, and derived AI outputs from the media you play;
- streaming and playing audio/video content you request;
- improving app performance and stability;
- providing technical support if you contact us;
- verifying subscription entitlement for premium features.
We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers.
3. Data Storage & Retention
All user-requested audio and text remains on your device by default unless you explicitly export, share, or enable cloud processing.
You can delete local transcripts or uninstall the app to remove stored data from your device.
4. Third-Party Services
The App may interact with third-party services depending on optional features you enable, including Apple (In-App Purchases, Analytics), Firebase (Crash Reporting, App Check), and AI translation providers.
These services have their own privacy policies which govern how they process any data sent to them.
5. Children’s Privacy
VoxaReel is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Security
We use secure connections (HTTPS), follow platform security practices, and apply App Check and other protections where applicable.
7. Your Choices
You may:
- avoid enabling cloud-based features;
- delete local transcripts or uninstall the app;
- opt out of analytics where supported by your device or OS;
- choose not to share diagnostic logs with support.
